Recently I was in Raleigh visiting friends. I had my sewing machine with me working on a job order. Had an issue with it and needed it to be repaired as soon as possible. I called Capital Sew and Quilt and they said I could bring my machine in. They could fix some things in the shop so that I would not have to leave my machine or wait to have it repaired. Sure enough, it was fixed in the store in about five minutes. Needless to say I was thrilled. Great friendly and helpful service!

My mother and I came in to have two antique sewing machines looked at. We were greeted by this amazing lady, Jen Cameron. She’s just a lovely, energetic, and knowledgeable person. She introduced us to Aaron. Aaron was very helpful and honest. He quickly assessed the machines and explained everything to us. Jen showed me a few machines and Aaron talked to my mom about her sewing needs. Needless to say, after getting some great recommendations and being able to take the machines for a “test run” at the store. Mom and I went back the following week and both of us purchased a brand new machine! We met Jennifer Moon on the day we purchased the machines and she was very sweet and knowledgeable. She told mom to pull up a seat and showed her the main features of the machine she bought. We are very happy with our purchase and will definitely be coming back for all of our sewing and vinyl needs (Yes! They sell vinyl!!). Thank you again for the great experience!!

I was in the middle of sewing my senior collection when my sewing machine decided to act up. The needle would not pass through the bobbin properly and I was struggling to adjust things correctly. Came in and received wonderful service! They were warm and incredibly helpful, and you can tell they love what they do. Highly recommend them!!

After being told by my dealer that my 15 year old embroidery machine had a broken part under feed dogs and was not repairable because it was obsolete and the part was not available, I called and asked if they would give me a second opinion. They agreed. I got the call that they could not get part either........but it was ok because nothing was broken! Dried and caked lubricant wouldn’t let feed dogs move! I am over the moon happy! And they were very nice and friendly. All my machines will go there from now on. (And we did talk about my need for yearly checkups) so thrilled!!!
